DOC area for red wines, rosé wines and white wines in the Italian region of Calabria. It was created in 2012, transferring the wines of the former DOC areas Donnici, Pollino, San Vito di Luzze and Verbicaro. The large zone covers 130 hectares of vineyards. These are the entire province of Cosenza with the subzones Colline del Crati with 20 municipalities; Condoleo with the municipality of Mandatoriccio; Donnici with 10 municipalities; Esaro with 17 municipalities; Pollino with 6 municipalities; San Vito di Luzze with the San Vito district of the municipality of Luzzi; and Verbicaro with 5 municipalities. Their names are listed on the label after the DOC designation Terre di Cosenza. There are some differences in the grape variety mix per subzone. The wines of the largest subzone Colline del Crati (which does not exist in all subzones) are listed below:

The Bianco is blended from the varieties Greco Bianco and/or Guarnaccia Bianca (Coda di Volpe B ianca) and/or Pecorello and/or Montonico Bianco or Mantonico Bianco (to 60%). The Bianco Spumante is made from Mantonico Bianco (60%). The Rosso (in some subzones also as Novello and Superiore) is produced from Magliocco Dolce (60%). Rosato is blended from Greco Nero (Greco Nero di Verbicaro) and/or Magliocco and/or Gaglioppo and/or Aglianico and/or Calabrese (60%).

The Spumante Rosè is produced from the varieties Mantonico (to. 60%), Greco Nero and/or Magliocco and/or Gaglioppo and/or Aglianico and/or Calabrese (together max. 40%). The Magliocco Spumante Rosè is produced from Mantonico (max. 60%). The varietal wines must contain at least 85% of the respective variety. These are the white wines and red wines Aglianico, Cabernet Sauvignon or Cabernet, Calabrese, Chardonnay, Gaglioppo, Greco Bianco, Greco Nero (only in the subzone Condoleo also as Riserva), Guarnaccia Bianca, Magliocco, Malvasia Bianca (Malvasia Bianca di Candia), Merlot, Montonico Bianco, Moscato Passito = Muscat Blanc (only in Verbicaro), Pecorello and Sangiovese.
