Terre di Pisa

DOC area for red wines in the Italian region of Tuscany. The zone includes the municipalities of Capannoli, Casciana Terme, Chianni, Crespina, Fauglia, Lajatico, Lari, Lorenzana, Montopoli in Val d'Arno, Orciano Pisano, Palaia, Peccioli, Ponsacco, Pontedera, San Miniato, Santa Luce and Terricciola in the province of Pisa. If the grapes come from classified vineyards, Vigna can be indicated followed by the name of the vineyard. The Rosso is obtained by blending Sangiovese and/or Cabernet Sauvignon and/or Merlot and/or Syrah (70%), as well as other authorised varieties (max. 30%). Sangiovese must contain at least 95% of this variety.
