The winery is located in the municipality of Neckenmarkt in the Austrian wine-growing region of Mittelburgenland. The winery is run by Josef Tesch. Together with his brother Hans, he had already produced small quantities of red wine from Blaufränkisch between 1979 and 1982. Son Josef Christian is responsible for the cellar and vinification, wife Helene for the vineyards. The vineyards cover 15 hectares, part of which is in the Hochberg vineyard. They are 95% planted with the red wine varieties Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot, the small remainder with the white wine variety Chardonnay. The vineyards are cultivated in a natural, environmentally friendly way. Depending on the type of wine, the wines are matured in stainless steel tanks or in barriques. The flagship is the "Titan" cuvée (Blaufränkisch, Merlot, CS), which is aged for up to 24 months in new barriques. Other premium wines are the cuvée "Kreos" (Blaufränkisch, Syrah, Zweigelt, CS) aged in used barriques, the classically aged Zweigelt, and various Mittelburgenland DAC (Blaufränkisch).
