Thurling

The white grape variety (also Alzey 46-12, Aurea) is a new breed between Müller-Thurgau x Riesling, from which the name was derived. The crossbreeding was done by Georg Scheu (1879-1949) at the Landesanstalt für Rebenzüchtung in Alzey (Rhineland). In 2016 no stock was shown (Kym Anderson).
