The white grape variety comes from Croatia, Synonyms are Dobrogoština, Grban, Kuč, Pljuskavac, Rukavina, Šampanjol, Trbljan Beli and Trbljan Bijeli. You mustn't go with that morphological similar and possibly related varieties Trebbiano Toscano or Trebbiano Romagnolo be confused. It should be noted that in VIVC catalog no independent variety Trbljan is kept. Instead, Trbljan (Torbijan, Trbljan Beli, Trbljan Bijeli) is synonymous with the variety Mostosa specified. The medium to late ripening, productive vine is susceptible to both mildews and Botrytis, It produces acidic, simple and rather low alcohol white wines.
