Trepat Blanc

The white grape variety originates from Spain. The parentage parentage) is unknown. The red variety Trepat (Trepat Negre) is not a color mutation (or vice versa). It yields white wines with aromas of apples and honey. The almost extinct variety has been reactivated in the Priorato area (Catalonia region). There, it is used as blending, but it is also vinified as single variety. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
