The winery is located in the municipality of Illmitz in the Seewinkel in the Burgenland wine-growing region of Neusiedlersee (Austria). The family business has been run by Hans and Lisa Tschida since 1982. The former mixed farm was fully converted to viticulture in 1993. The vineyards cover 35 hectares. They are 70% planted with the white wine varieties Welschriesling, Gelber Muskateller, Chardonnay, Sämling 88 (Scheurebe), Muskat-Ottonel, Traminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Grüner Veltliner and Weißburgunder (Pinot Blanc), and 30% with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Merlot, Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon and Roesler.

The winery is an absolute specialist of sweet and noble sweet Prädikat wines in all types. The white grape varieties are almost entirely used for the production of Spätlese, Auslese, Beerenauslese, Trockenbeerenauslese, ice wines and reed wines (straw wines). The white Prädikat wines are without exception gently fermented with cool, slow fermentation and matured in stainless steel tanks or small wooden barrels. The red wines mature in traditional large wooden barrels or in barrique. The two sparkling wines "Rosekko" (Zweigelt Rosé) and "Musekko" (Gelber Muskateller) are also produced.
