Tsulukidzis Tetra

The white grape comes from Georgia, Synonyms are Rachuli Tetra, Racthuli Tetri and Tsulukidze Tetra. According to done in 2012 DNA analysis it is a presumably natural cross between Vulpea x Heunisch ( Gouais blanc ). However, this is based on only 20 DNA markers (see under molecular Genetics ). The early-ripening, high-yielding vine yields fresh white wines with moderate alcohol content, as well as aromas of peaches and cherries. It is grown in the north-western region Racha-Letschchumi. In 2010, 195 hectares of vineyards were recorded with increasing tendency.
