Turchetta

The red grape variety comes from Italy. The parentage (parenthood) is unknown. The medium maturing vine is resistant to downy mildew. It is cultivated in small quantities in the Veneto region. Here it is registered in the DOC area Bagnoli di Sopra. In 2016, two hectares of vineyards were designated (statistics Kym Anderson).
