The estate is located in the municipality of Furth next Göttweig in the Lower Austrian wine region Kremstal, After the death of the father Wolfgang Unger in 1999, the winery was taken over by Petra Unger, who studied at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Wien (field of viticulture) and acquired practice in a California winery. Since 2006, Petra Unger is dedicated exclusively to their own vineyards (the long-term lease of the vineyards of the Göttweig Abbey was abandoned). The vineyards cover 11 hectares of vineyards in the vineyards Gaisberg, Gottschelle, Hinters Kirchl and Oberfeld. They are cultivated to 75% with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as to 25% with the red varieties Zweigelt and Pinot Noir. The wines are produced in the three categories "Q" (fresh, light wines), "Classic" (fruity wines) and "Reserve" (full-bodied, storable wines). The premium wines include several Grüner Veltliner and Riesling wines Kremstal DAC or Kremstal DAC Reserve with different vineyard names. Every year around 60,000 bottles of wine are produced. There are also brandies (fruit, wine, pomace) and bottle-fermented sect produced. The winery is a member of the two winegrower associations 11 women & their wines and Traditionsweingüter Austria,
