DOC area for reds, rosé wines and white wines in the Italian region Tuscany, The area includes the municipalities of Arezzo, Castiglion Fiorentino, Civitella in Val di Chiana, Cortona, Foiano della Chiana, Lucignano, Marciano della Chiana and Monte San Savino in the province of Arezzo, as well as the municipalities of Chiusi, Montepulciano, Sinalunga and Torrita di Siena in the Province of Siena.

The Bianco or Bianco Vergine (also as Frizzante and Spumante ) are from the varieties Trebbiano Toscano (about 20%), in any mix of Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco logo CNRS logo INIST Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grigio Pinot Gris and Grechetto Grechetto di Orvieto (max 80%), as well as other approved varieties (max 15%) blended. The wine types Rosso and Rosato are out Sangiovese (to 50%), in any mixture of Cabernet Sauvignon. Cabernet Franc. Merlot and Syrah (max 50%) and other approved varieties (max 15%).

The varietal wines must contain at least 85% of the variety concerned. These are the white wines Chardonnay and Grechetto, as well as the red wine Sangiovese. The White Vin Santo (also as Riserva ) is made in any mixture of Trebbiano Toscano, Malvasia Bianca di Candia. Malvasia Bianca Lunga and Malvasia Istriana Malvasia Istarska (to 50%) produced.
