The white grape variety is an interspecific new variety; the parenthood is unknown ( VIVC catalog ). Synonyms are Seyve-Villard 23-410 and Valerian. The crossing took place in France by the breeder Bertille Seyve (1864-1939). The variety is grown in the Vendée department Loire estuary grown. In 2010, 24 hectares of vineyards were shown there. There is also a tiny inventory in Romania (Kym Anderson ).
