The winery is located in the municipality Gols
in the Burgenland wine-growing region Lake Neusiedl
(Austria). The company is managed by Gerhard and Bettina Varga. The vineyards cover 3.5 hectares of vineyards. They are planted with the white varieties Welschriesling (main variety), Rheinriesling, Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, Muskat Ottonell, Chardonnay and Neuburger, and the red varieties Pinot Noir, Blaufränkisch
and Zweigelt. Quality criteria are short pruning
, appropriate foliage care
and yield reduction. The white wines are cooled in the temperature-controlled stainless steel tank, the red wines in large wooden barrels (Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch
) and aged 12 to 18 months in French, American, Bulgarian and Hungarian oak barrels. A special feature is a outbreak
from Pinot Noir Jg 2007. It also produces a sparkling wine.
