The white grape variety is a new variety between Furmint x Malvasia Istriana (Malvazija Istarska). Synonyms or breeding numbers are Dalmasso 2-26, I.D. 2/26 and Incroccio Dalmasso II/26, crossed in 1937 in Conegliano (Veneto) by the Italian breeder Giovanni Dalmasso (1886-1974). The early ripening vine produces straw yellow, aromatic white wines. It is cultivated in Veneto. In 2016, 27 hectares of vineyards were designated (statistics Kym Anderson).
