The white grape variety (also Dalmasso 2-26) is a new breed between Furmint x Malvasia Istriana ( Malvasia Istarska ). The crossing took place in 1937 in Conegliano (Veneto) by the Italian breeder Giovanni Dalmasso (1886-1974). The early ripening vine produces straw yellow, aromatic white wines. It is grown in Veneto. In 2010, 35 hectares of vineyards were reported (Kym Anderson ).
