The red grape variety is an interspecific new breed between Alden x New York 46000 ( Buffalo x New York 34006). Synonyms are Arkansas 1196, Venus Kernlos and Venus Seedless. They are genes from Vitis labrusca and Vitis vinifera contain. The crossing of the hybrid was done in 1964 by the breeder Jim N. Moore at the University of Arkansas, The mid-early ripening, hardy Owns vine seedless Berries with a pronounced Foxton, It is therefore mainly used as table grape and for the generation of grape juice used. In 2010, only one hectare was planted in Brazil reported (Statistics Kym Anderson ).
