Verdi Giuseppe

The Italian composer Giuseppe Fortunino Francesco Verdi (1813-1901), best known for his operas, was born in Parma in Emilia-Romagna.

He was a big wine lover and loved first-class Chianti he not only to his favorite wine, but also explained about his medicine.

On his second trip to Russia in 1862, accompanied by his second wife, he took some boxes with him, but all the bottles froze to death in the unheated baggage car.
