The white variety (also Verdiel) comes from Spain
, The parentage is unknown. It produces light white wines with aromas of apples and pineapple. The endangered vine has been reactivated by the winemaker Daniel Belda and is mainly used by him in small quantities in the Vall dels Alforins in the DO area Valencia
(in the eastern region Levant
) grown. In 2010, 57 hectares were expelled.
