The Winery "Bodegas y Viñedos Veredes by Fercyser" is located in the municipality of Peñafiel (province of Valladolid) in the northern Spanish region Castile and Leon, It has been owned by the De la Fuente family for three generations. In 2012 it was decided to produce own wines. The vineyards cover 30 hectares of vineyards in various plots with different soil types in the municipality of Peñafiel and Pesquera de Duero. They are mainly with the red wine variety Tinta del País ( Tempranillo ) and the white wine variety Verdejo planted. The yields are reduced to an average of 4,500 to 4,800 kg / ha. Through selective hand-picking, only fully ripe and healthy grapes are processed. The wines are under the DO Ribera del Duero generated. The red wine "Veredes" (after an ancient Castilian name) is 100% pure varietal Tempranillo from their own vineyards and pressed in new barrels of French and American oak expanded. It is produced in the two variants "Roble" (5 to 6 months) and the long-lived "Crianza" (12 months). The white wine "Bohème Rueda" is produced in pure variety from Verdejo. Every year more than 50,000 bottles are produced. The most important export markets are Germany and Denmark.
