DOC area for a wide range of white wines, red wines and rosé wines in the Italian region of Veneto. The zone, named after the province of the same name, comprises a total of 85 municipalities. These are Albettone, Alonte, Altavilla Vicentina, Arcugnano, Arzignano, Asigliano Veneto, Barbarano Vicentino, Breganze, Brendola, Cassola, Carrè, Cartigliano, Castegnero, Castelgomberto, Chiuppano, Creazzo, Fara Vicentino, Gambellara, Gambugliano, Grancona, Lonigo, Longare, Malo, Marano Vicentino, Marostica, Mason Vicentino, Molvena, Montebello Vicentino, Montecchio Maggiore, Montecchio Precalcino, Montegalda, Montegaldella, Monteviale, Montorso Vicentino, Mossano, Mussolente, Nanto, Nove, Orgiano, Pianezze, Rosà, Rossano Veneto, Salcedo, Sandrigo, San Germano dei Berici, San Vito di Leguzzano, Sarego, Sarcedo, Schiavon, Sossano, Sovizzo, Tezze sul Brenta, Thiene, Villaga, Zané, Zermeghedo, Zovencedo and Zuliano (58), as well as parts of Agugliaro, Bassano del Grappa, Brogliano, Caltrano, Calvene, Chiampo, Cogollo del Cengio, Campiglia dei Berici, Costabissara, Cornedo Vicentino, Dueville, Grumolo delle Abbadesse, Isola Vicentina, Lugo di Vicenza, Monte di Malo, Nogarole Vicentino, Piovene Rocchette, Pove del Grappa, Poiana Maggiore, Romano d'Ezzelino, Quinto Vicentino, Schio, Santorso, Torri di Quartesolo, Trissino, Vicenza and Villaverla (27).

The single-varietal wines must contain at least 85% of the respective variety, up to a maximum of 15% other authorised varieties can be used. The white wines are Chardonnay, Garganego (Garganega), Manzoni Bianco, Moscato (Moscato Bianco = Muscat Blanc and/or Moscato Giallo = Gold Muscat), Pinot Bianco (Pinot Blanc), Pinot Grigio (Pinot Gris), Riesling (Riesling Italico = Welschriesling and/or Riesling Renano = Riesling) and Sauvignon (Sauvignon Blanc). The red wines are Cabernet (Cabernet Franc and/or Cabernet Sauvignon and/or Carmenère), Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Nero (Pinot Noir) and Raboso (Raboso Veronese).

The Bianco is produced from Garganega (to. 50%), as well as other permitted varieties (max. 50%). Rosso and Rosato (both also as Novello) are produced from Merlot (max. 50%), as well as other authorised varieties (max. 50%). A Passito is only produced from Bianco. One Frizzante is produced from Bianco and Rosato. One Spumante is produced by Bianco, Chardonnay, Garganego and Pinot Bianco. And one Riserva with a longer ageing period is produced from all red wines.
