Vie di Romans

The estate is located in the municipality of Mariano del Friuli (province of Gorizia) in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, It has been managed by Gianfranco Gallo since 1978, who started bottling. The vineyards cover almost nine hectares of vineyards with only the white varieties Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Malvasia Istriana, Friulano and Riesling Renano. The planting is relatively dense with 6,000 vines / hectare in order to keep the grapes low per vine. Of the earnings is limited to a very low value of just under one kilogram per vine for white wines. After fermentation in steel tanks, depending on the type of wine, the wines are stored in a steel tank with long storage on the lees or aged in French barriques. The product range includes various white wines DOC Friuli Isonzo and IGT Venezia Giulia.
