The winery is located in the municipality of Mariano del Friuli (province of Gorizia) in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, It has been run since 1978 by Gianfranco Gallo, who began bottling. The vineyards cover nearly nine hectares of vines exclusively with the white varieties Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Malvasia Istriana, Friulano and Riesling Renano. The planting is relatively dense with 6,000 vines / hectare to keep the grape per vine low. Of the earnings is limited to a very low value of just under one kilogram per vine for white wines. After fermentation in steel tanks, the wines are depending on the type of wine in steel tanks with long storage on the lees or expanded in French oak barrels. The product range includes various white wines DOC Friuli Isonzo and IGT Venezia Giulia.
