In early 2006, the company was founded by the Multi Constellation Brands (American Constellation Brand). The estate includes wineries in the Canadian provinces of British Columbia (Hawthorne, Okanagan Vineyards, Sumac Ridge), New Brunswick, Ontario (Jackson-Triggs, London Winery) and Quebec. Notable joint ventures include Nk'Mip Cellars (first Indian-owned winery) with Osoyoos Indian Band, Osoyoos Larose Winery with the owner of the Château Gruaud-Larose (both British Columbia), as well as Le Clos Jordanne (Ontario) with Boisset from Burgundy. The company also has operations in Australia, California, New Zealand and the US state of Washington, as well as the import company Western Wines. Vincor produces wines in Canada under the above and other labels for both the mass market and the upscale (VQA). The annual production is about seven million boxes, the Canadian share is 20 percent.
