Vineyard or site in the municipality of Deutsch-Schützen in the Eisenberg winegrowing region (Southern Burgenland, Austria). The south-facing vineyards with a 15% slope consist of iron-rich loam and medium-textured brown earth soils. They are particularly suitable in the lower area for the red wine varieties cultivated here Blaufränkisch and Merlot. Cultivated white wine varieties are Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. The Kopfensteiner, Krutzler Reinhold, Wachter-Wiesler and Wallner Gerhard wineries, for example, have shares in the vineyard.
The Wine lexicon helps me to keep up to date and refresh my knowledge. Thank you for this Lexicon that will never end in terms of topicality! That's what makes it so exciting to come back often.
