Vino Santo

Designation (holy wine) for a mostly sweet wine that is very important in Italy and is produced in IGT and DOC areas of many regions as a separate wine type. In Tuscany, however, it is referred to by the protected designation Vin Santo (Vin instead of Vino) (see there). In Greece, this wine is called Vinsanto (without Blank in between).
