Vinoble

Wine competition for the best sweet wines in the world, held annually in May since 2001. The event is organised by the wine magazine Vinum. In addition to classics such as Madeira, Port, Samos, Sauternes, Tokaj and noble sweet products from Germany and Austria, there are also sweet specialities from, for example, New Zealand, Slovenia, Uruguay or Japan. In 2004, the event took place in the Andalusian sherry town of Jerez de la Frontera in the Palacio de Villavicencio in the castle grounds of Alcázar. A total of around one thousand sweet wines from 20 countries were exhibited. See also under Awards and Wine Events.

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
