VINOVA

The formerly largest Austrian wine fair was first organized by KR Gerd Hoffmann in 1986 and was the first wine fair in the German-speaking world. Hoffmann was also the founder of VieVinum in 1998. Until 1994 the fair was held every two years and from 1995 to 2007 every year at the Messezentrum Wien exhibition centre and attracted up to 1,100 international exhibitors. It was organised by Reed Exhibitions Messe Wien. At the same time there were two other trade fairs, namely "Destillata" (fine spirits) and "Alles für den Gast" (everything for the guest) (catering, hotel and food industry). Sigi Hiss

There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
