Vins sans Indication Géographique

French term for "wines without geographical indication", introduced by the EU market organisation that came into force in August 2009. This includes the new wine designation Vin de France (formerly Vin de table). The second group are Vins avec Indication Géographique (wines with protected geographical indication, namely AOP and IGP). See the quality system section.
