The cross was made in 1931 in Conegliano (Veneto) by the Italian breeder Giovanni Dalmasso (1886-1974). The same parents also produced the varieties Giovanna, Liana and Teresita. The vine is used as table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
