The white grape variety comes from Croatia, Synonyms are Maraškina Velog Zrna, Prejica, Tanetova Loza, Vezulja, Vezuljka, Zutuja and Zutulja. Vlaška is the Croatian name for Wallachia; out of today too Romania territory it was introduced in the 20th century. The parentage is unknown. The early to medium maturing vine is part of a reactivation program. It is grown in small quantities around Split in Dalmatia. In 2010, however, no stock was shown (Kym Anderson ).
