The estate is located in the municipality of Droß in the n wine region Kremstal (NE). An inn is attached. Winegrowing in "Drozze" was first mentioned in 1253. The one built by the gentlemen at Drozze Lesehof also served as a leader for the horse transports, which took a break before the arduous ascent into the Waldviertel and additionally "harnessed horses". The name is derived from this. The property came into the possession of the Mayr family in 1898. Under Anton and Brigitta Mayr, the switch from an agricultural company to viticulture took place. Today it is run by daughter Silke Mayr.
The vineyards cover 14 hectares of vineyards in the vineyards Gebling, Church garden, Kremsleithen, Loiser Weg, Marthal, walnut, point, sandpit and sentences. They are 95% white wine varieties Green Valtellina (50%), Riesling (25%), Chardonnay. Sauvignon Blanc and yellow muscatel, the little rest with the red wines Zweigelt and Merlot planted. The product range includes various wines Kremstal DAC from the varieties Grüner Veltliner and Rieslin, as well as the red wine Zweigelt from the Stratzinger Satzen site. In weather-appropriate years, too Eiswein produced. Fine brandies and bottle-fermented sparkling wine are also produced. The winery is a member of the Kremstaler Convent wine association.
