Wagner-Stempel

The estate is located in the municipality of Siefersheim (Bingen area) in the German wine-growing region Rheinhessen, It has been run by the eighth generation of Daniel Wagner's family since 1992, who previously had practical experience in the Tuscany, in Bordeaux and in California (Carneros) had collected. The vineyards cover a total of around 18 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Heerkretz, Golden horn and Höllberg (Siefersheim). Half of them are planted with Riesling, white Burgundy varieties (25%), Silvaner, Scheurebe, Sauvignon Blanc and various red wine varieties. Since 2005 the vineyards ecologically cultivated, an official certification took place in 2008. The philosophy of the house assumes that excellent wines are produced in the vineyard. The cornerstones of the in-house quality philosophy are meticulous vineyard work, consistent yield limitation, and selective hand picking.
