The winery is located in the municipality Poysdorf in the Lower Austrian wine region Weinviertel, The traditional family has been wine-growing here since 1870. Today the business is run by Gerhard and Helene Walek. One founded in the 1980s nursery is connected. Here are over 20 grape varieties, some with several each Clone cultured. A service for planting vineyards is offered. There is also a show garden. The production vineyards cover 16.5 hectares, 60% of which are planted with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Welschriesling and Sauvignon Blanc, and 40% with the red varieties Zweigelt, Blauer Portugieser and Roesler. Quality criteria are reduced yields and healthy, fully ripe grapes. Premium wines include, for example Weinviertel DAC (Grüner Veltliner), Riesling Premium and Zweigelt Premium. Fine brandies (grains, yeast, wine, pear) and grape juices from organic farming are also produced. The winery is a member of the wine market wine market Poysdorf.
