The winery is located in the municipality Poysdorf in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region Weinviertel, The traditional family has been practicing viticulture since 1870. Today, the company is run by Gerhard and Helene Walek. Founded in the 1980s nursery is connected. Here are over 20 grape varieties, each with several Clone cultivated. A service for planting vineyards is offered. There is also a show wine garden. The production areas cover 16.5 hectares, 60% of which are planted with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Welschriesling and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as 40% with the red varieties Zweigelt, Blauer Portugieser and Roesler. Quality criteria are reduced yields and healthy, fully ripe grapes. For example, the premium wines include Weinviertel DAC (Grüner Veltliner), Riesling Premium and Zweigelt Premium. It is also produced brandies (yeasts, yeast, wine, pear) and grape juices from organic farming. The winery is a member of the winegrower association Weinmarkt Poysdorf.
