, The company was founded by Eugen Wangler in 1938 as a cooperage for large-scale barrel and distillery. Son Heinrich Wangler graduated in 1968 master craftsman as Fass-, Weinküfer - and winemaker. Today he is run in the third generation of the family trained as Weinküfer and winemaker Heiko Wangler and his wife Katja. The vineyards cover 20 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Burgberg (Abstatt), Dezberg (Eberstadt), Forstberg (Oberstenfeld), and Wartberg (Beilstein). They are planted with the red varieties Pinot Noir, Trollinger, Lemberger, Schwarzriesling, Dornfelder, Cabernet Mitos and Merlot, and with the white varieties Riesling, Silvaner, Gewürztraminer, Müller-Thurgau and Kerner.
