The "Organic Winery Willi Weber" is located in the municipality Roseldorf (Sitzendorf on the Schmida) in the Lower Austrian wine region Weinviertel
, It is run by Willi Weber, son Andreas is responsible for the cellar. The vineyards are located in the Ried Hiesbeet, Mitterberg and Schlossberg on the southern slopes of the Schmidatales. They are planted with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner and Welschriesling, and with the red varieties Zweigelt and Blauer Portugieser. The vineyards have been cultivated since the year 2000 according to strict biological guidelines with no chemicals in the vineyard and cellar. The operating philosophy is to produce quality wine in harmony with nature without exposing the wine to unnecessary chemical and mechanical stress. Important quality criteria are the physiological ripeness of the grapes and the correct timing of the harvest.
