Riede or location in the Lower Austrian wine region Kamptal, which extends over the two municipalities of Zöbing (cadastral municipality of Langenlois ) and stretches in the Straßertale. The continuation of the Wechselberg forms the reed Stangl, The vineyards, which face south (in the form of a cauldron in the Strasser part), southwest and partly also north, consist of slate weathering soils with loess and clay layers in the upper part. The lower part consists of strongly calcareous loess and brown soils. Due to the height of the Wechselberg, there is a special microclimate here. A gentle breeze cools down the hot summer air during the night, which has a very positive effect on the aroma formation in the grapes. Here are mainly the white wines Green Valtellina and Riesling, and also Frühroter Veltliner and Pinot Blanc ( Pinot Blanc ) cultivated. The wineries, for example, have shares in the vineyard Allram.
