Riede or location in the Lower Austrian wine region Kamptal, which are about the two communities Zöbing (Katastralgemeinde of Langenlois ) and Strass in Strassertal. The continuation of the Wechselberg forms the Riede Stangl, The vineyards to the south (in the form of a boiler in the Strasser part), southwest and partly also to the north are made in the upper part of slate weathering soils with loess and loam overlay. The lower part consists of strongly calcareous loess and brown soils. Due to the height of the Wechselberg, a special microclimate prevails here. A gentle breeze brings in the nights a cooling of the hot summer air, which has a very positive effect on the aromas in the grapes. Here are mainly the white wine varieties Green Valtellina and Riesling, and also Frühroter Veltliner and Pinot Blanc ( Pinot Blanc ). Shares in the vineyard, for example, have the wineries Allram. Arndorfer. Cobaneshof Schneider. Eichinger Birgit. Grillmaier. Retzl Erwin. Pot Johann. Weixel tree Heinz and Zottlöderer,
