The winery is located in the municipality of Apetlon in the Burgenland wine-growing region of Neusiedlersee (Austria). It is managed by Johann Wegleitner (vineyards) and his son Johannes (marketing, sales, cellar). The vineyards cover 3.5 hectares, 55% of which are planted with the red wine varieties Blauer Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch and St. Laurent, and 45% with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Bouvier and Chardonnay. Great value is placed on deliberate thinning out and gentle processing of fully ripe, healthy grapes. The white wines are fermented and matured in stainless steel. The red wines mature in stainless steel or in used or new barriques, depending on the type of wine. The main focus is also placed on the varieties Grüner Veltliner, Blauer Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch. The majority of the white wine grapes are used for the production of noble sweet wines and only a few are vinified dry. Premium wines are the barrique-aged red wine "Joweel" (Zweigelt), the cuvée "Fabio" (Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, St. Laurent), and several Trockenbeerenauslesen. In years with suitable weather conditions, ice wines are also produced.
