The winery is located in the municipality of Gols in the Burgenland wine-growing region of Neusiedlersee (Austria). For reasons of distinction it is also called "Neuner-Wendelin", because the house used to have the number 9 (today Hauptplatz 1). A guest house is attached. The business is run by Paul and Andrea Wendelin. The vineyards comprise 14 hectares of vineyards in the areas Edelgrund, Gabarinza, Goldberg, Haideboden and Langer Acker. They are partly located on the edge of the Neusiedlersee National Park. Two thirds of the red wine varieties Zweigelt (40% of the area), Blaufränkisch, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and St. Laurent are cultivated, and one third of the white wine varieties Welschriesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay. Premium wines are the classically matured cuvée "Edelgrund" (Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch), the cuvée "Novem" (Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon), St. Laurent Heideboden, Zweigelt Goldberg and Zweigelt Klassik, all matured in barrique. Sweet wines are also produced in years with suitable weather conditions. Fine brandies, Frizzante and grape juice are also produced.
