The estate is located in the town of Erlenbach am Main (Mainviereck area) in the heart of Churfranken in the German wine-growing region Franconia
, The former municipal winery Erlenbach became the property of the Wengerter family in 1999 and is managed by Rainer Wengerter. The affiliated gastronomy "Winzerstube Wengerter" in the Röllfeld district offers culinary specialties with "asparagus and wine" in spring and "geese and wine" in autumn. The largest classic car meeting on Untermain also takes place here once a month in the summer months. The vineyards cover 17 hectares of vineyards in the individual vineyards Hochberg (Erlenbach a. M.), Jesuitenberg and Schalk (Rück), Schlossberg
(Klingenberg), Lützeltalerberg (Großwallstadt), Bischofsberg (Großheubach), and Deutschordensberg (Röllbach).
They are planted with the white varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Bacchus and Kerner as well as Gewürztraminer, as well as with the red varieties Pinot Noir, Portuguese, Zweigelt, Blauburger, Dornfelder, Regent and Cabernet Mitos. A selective harvest in several rounds guarantees ripe and healthy grapes. The processing takes place with gentle treatment of grapes and wines during cellar expansion. The red wines are mostly vinified dry. A Secco Blanc-de-Noir is also produced. Around 70,000 bottles of wine are produced annually.
