, It was founded by Alfred Wiesler in 1927. The third generation has been run by Michael and Kristina Wiesler since 1990. In 2003 a Gutsschänke was opened. The vineyards cover seven hectares of vineyards in a single location Schlossberg
(Staufen). They are planted with the white varieties Gutedel, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Gewürztraminer, as well as with the red Pinot Noir. The Burgundy varieties are the particular strength of the winery. The best wines of a vintage from reduced-yield vineyards, some from the 1950s, are carefully selected at the lees with high varietal
expanded and marketed as "Wiesler Edition". Bottle-fermented sparkling wines and brandies (yeast, pomace, grape, cherry, Williams, mirabelle, fruit) are also produced.
