Wine fairs

There are many regional, national and international events and trade fairs around the world for alcoholic beverages (wines, spirits, etc.). These are important forums for producers, traders, restaurateurs and journalists. Consumers are also admitted to most (but not all) of them. Besides the exhibition of wines, spirits and related products, there is usually a supporting programme with various activities. These include auctions (wine auctions), vinotheques, presentations, exhibitions, lectures, seminars and wine tastings or wine evaluations (wine competitions) with awards:
