This unofficial honorary title (Latin for "Vinum Regnum - Rex Vinorum") was created on the basis of an outstanding grandiose Quality already awarded several wines, such as the Barolo and the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano (both Italy), a red wine from today's Appellation Gevrey-Chambertin (France), the Tokaj (Hungary) and others.
