The estate is located in the municipality Dobermannsdorf in the Lower Austrian wine region Weinviertel
, It was founded in the 1950s by Anton Weinwurm. After practical experience with Austrian top winemakers and the winery Andrew Peace in Australia, the company is run since 2001 by his grandson Georg Weinwurm. Since 2006 he is also a trained butler. The vineyards cover 14 hectares of vineyards in, for example, the vineyards Kugelberg and Schilling. They are the white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Red Muscat, Müller-Thurgau, Muscat Ottonel and Welschriesling, and planted with the red varieties Zweigelt, Blauburger, Blue Portugal, Merlot and Syrah. It is practiced consistently close to nature, environmentally friendly viticulture. The wines are marketed under the label "Weinwurm's". The top line "Überdrüber" includes vinified wines from the best vineyards cultivated with the utmost care. The line "Casca", presented at the beginning of 2008, was named after the flower goddess of the Incas. The wines "Pinot Blanc Selection" and "Zweigelt Exquisit" are available exclusively in selected flower shops. There are also different Weinviertel DAC (Grüner Veltliner) produced.
