One of the Alsace (Haut-Rhin) sites classified as Grand Cru within the Alsace Grand Cru appellation. The vineyards cover 19 hectares of vineyards at an altitude of 240 to 320 metres above sea level on granite soil in the commune of Blienschwiller. They are planted with Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Pinot Gris. René Kientz, Hubert Metz and François Meyer are well-known producers.
For my many years of work as an editor with a wine and culinary focus, I always like to inform myself about special questions at Wine lexicon. Spontaneous reading and following links often leads to exciting discoveries in the wide world of wine.
