maiden vine (GB)
German name for the vine genus Parthenocissus; look there.

Botanical name (parthenos = virgin, kissos = ivy) of the deciduous, liana-like climbing plant with the German names Jungfernrebe, Mauerkatze, Mauerwein, Veitschi or Zaunrebe. It is one of the 12 genera within the vine family (Vitaceae) - just like Vitis, to which the cultivated vines counting. With the exception of the Vitis, all other genera are colloquially referred to as " Wild Wine " designated. However, this must not be done with the Wild vines, the wild form of the cultivated vines. Mostly zwittrigen Flowers can ripen to dark blue or black, inedible, rather inedible berries.
