World of Fine Wine

The British wine magazine "The World of Fine Wine" (WFW) was founded in 2004. The quarterly publication is considered an absolute top product, Hugh Johnson described it as "no consumer magazine but the first cultural journal of the wine world". To emphasize are the detailed tastings and in-depth technical articles. Advertising is less extensive than other magazines. As Editor-in-Chief Neil Beckett, Hugh Johnson acts as editorial consultant. Regular contributions include such famous wine writers as Tim Atkin, Nicolas Belfrage, Michel Bettane, Michael Broadbent, Tom Cannavan, Oz Clarke, James Halliday, Hugh Johnson, Peter Liem, Jancis Robinson, David Schildknecht, Tom Stevenson, Serena Sutcliffe and Franco Ziliani, The magazine received the 2009 Gourmand World Cookbook Award for Best Wine Magazine in the World and the 2010 Louis Roederer Award "for" International Wine Publication of the Year ". Since Sept. 2010, there is a weekly online blog.
