World of Fine Wine

The British wine magazine "The World of Fine Wine" (WFW) was founded in 2004. The quarterly publication is considered an absolute top product, Hugh Johnson called it "not a consumer magazine but the first cultural magazine of the wine world". The extensive tastings and in-depth specialist articles deserve special mention. The advertising is less extensive than other magazines. Neil Beckett is the editor-in-chief and Hugh Johnson is the editorial consultant. Regular contributions include such famous wine authors as Tim Atkin, Nicolas Belfrage, Michel Bettane, Michael Broadbent, Tom Cannavan, Oz Clarke, James Halliday, Hugh Johnson, Peter Liem, Jancis Robinson, David Schildknecht, Tom Stevenson, Serena Sutcliffe and Franco Ziliani, In 2009 the magazine received the "Gourmand World Cookbook Award" for "Best Wine Magazine in the World" and in 2010 the "Louis Roederer Award "for" International Wine Publication of the Year ". There has been a weekly online blog since September 2010.
