Zagrei

The white grape variety (also Zagrey) is a new breed between Ovidiopolsky x Muscat Rozovy. The father variety is a black berry mutation of Muscat Blanc, The crossing took place in Odessa in the Ukraine by YN Dokuchaeva. The variety protection was granted in 2006. The medium to late ripening, productive vine is resistant to frost, It produces flowery white wines with aromas of lemons and apples. In 2010, however, no stock was shown (Statistics Kym Anderson ).
