The white grape variety (also Badacsony 2, Zephyr) is a new breed between Hárslevelü x Leányka (ex VIVC catalog ). According to DNA analysis but if this is wrong, parenthood is unknown (ex Wine Grapes ). The crossing took place in 1951 in Hungary by the breeder Ferenc Király. The early ripening vine yields mild, aromatic white wines with aromas of currants. She will be in the fields Eger and Etyek-Buda (for sparkling wine production) grown.
