The estate is located in the municipality of Neustadt-Haardt an der Weinstraße (Mittelhaardt area) in the German wine-growing region of Pfalz. Oliver Zeter completed an apprenticeship as a winemaker followed by studies to become a viticultural technician in Weinsberg. After formative stays abroad in Italy and South Africa, Oliver Zeter first worked in his father's wine agency before realising his big dream as a wine producer in 2007. The trend-setting approach to the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety quickly gained a certain notoriety. In 2018, the winery's headquarters were relocated to a historic estate in Neustadt-Haardt, and in 2021, a new production facility was put into operation to further enhance wine quality.

Zeter Oliver - Gebäude

The vineyards comprise six hectares of self-owned vineyards as well as 28 hectares on the basis of leasehold management and contract vineyards with delivery of grapes in the single vineyard sites Steingebiss (Appenhofen), Nussriegel and Weilberg (Ungstein) as well as Saumagen (Kallstadt), among others. The white wine varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Viognier, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris are processed, as well as the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Syrah.

Zeter OIiver - Barrique-Keller

Depending on the type of wine, the wine is matured in barrique barrels, in piece barrels, in concrete eggs, amphorae or in stainless steel tanks. The red wines are traditionally macerated after cold maceration. Premium wines are the white wines Sauvignon Blanc "Baer", Viognier "Záfran" and Chenin Blanc, as well as the red wines "Z" (CS, CF and Syrah), the Bordeaux blend "Zahir" and the Pinot Noirs Kaiserberg, Heiligenberg and soon also Im Sonnenschein. The labels are adorned with a bear penned by Palatinate artist Otto Dill (a friend of Oliver Zeter's great-grandfather Walter Baer). Around 300,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. In addition, sparkling wines are produced according to traditional bottle fermentation and noble brandies.
