The white grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Irsai Olivér x Kunleány. Synonyms are Aranka and Sremski Karlovci. There are genes of Vitis amurensis and Vitis vinifera included. The hybrid was crossed in Serbia in 1976 by the breeders Petar Cindric, Lj. Jazic, N. Ruzic and N. Vukmirovic. The vine is resistant to frost. In 2016 no stocks were recorded (statistics Kym Anderson).
